MOOSEY'S HAPPY STORY - After living at the shelter his entire life, Melissa falls madly in love with Moosey (at age 12)... (And then her mom does too)!
It was love at first sight seeing this Teddy Bear face and sad eyes! He is a black and grey terrier mix named Moosey. I met him two months ago when visiting my daughter, Melissa (Project Pet President). She had recently adopted him from Pet Rescue, which was his home for his ENTIRE life. We guess that Moosey is about ten years old. When I left Miami, Moosey left too... I fell so in love with him, that I adopted him from Melissa. He is very well behaved and loves riding in the car, visits to the pet store, lapped up his first ice cream cone (when he figured out what to do with it) and his tail is always wagging when we go on our daily walks. He has also made some dog friends and looks forward to passing a neighbors house where he receives a biscuit. He has had some health issues but his veterinarian has attended to him with good results due to a five pound weight gain and a nice shiny coat. My biggest challenge is that Moosey exhibits shyness and fearfulness and I do hope with his new home and a lot of hugs that he can overcome this. Moosey truly is deserving of a good life! I can't wait to see his reaction to Syracuse SNOW! Moosey's story is one that has a very happy ending, but it is so sad that he spent most of his life in a shelter waiting for someone to love him.
