Pet Listing - Fauna

Fauna is a one year-old stray cat whom we found wandering around a beach in Aruba, and well, the truth is we just fell head over heels for this angelic little girl. We were shocked at how affectionate and snuggly she was, and who knows when the last time she had a bed to sleep on and a reliable source of food? After a session of snuggles and headbutting, we scooped little Fauna and her bushy tail up into our arms and carried her back to our hotel room, where she was very appreciative of the air conditioning, soft beds and delicious wet food. Judging by her abdomen, it's clear this peach-and-white girl has had a few litters during her short life, but a spaying at the local vet ensures Fauna will remain a single lady for the rest of her days. Most stray cats in Aruba are not as lucky as this girl, as the majority are killed, with very few adoptions on an island filled with strays. She was a perfect, loving companion to come home to, and thanks to the wonderful local Aruban rescuers we befriended, Fauna just flew home to us and is in a loving NYC foster home with three other dogs and a cat!
