Project Pet, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, privately funded animal rescue organization. Project Pet, Inc. was established in 2008 by a group of dedicated and passionate animal lovers, residing in New York and Miami. We work together as volunteers, meaning every penny earned goes directly towards our goal of helping homeless pets in our communities.
Our Mission
- Raise money through social events for young professionals in New York and Miami.
- Use funds to pull pit bulls out of of Animal Care and Control of New York City before they are euthanized.
- Allocate funds raised through our events to shelters in need.
- Assure that the money given to the shelters is used to directly benefit the lives of the pets living there.
- Assist local shelters in adoption efforts, by marketing their pets on our website and sponsoring adoption events.
- Assist with shelter’s vet bills, supply items needed to make the animals lives more comfortable
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote responsible pet ownership and educate on the importance of spaying/ neutering.
- Motivate people to get involved and to show them that its cool to rescue a shelter pet.
